Instead of full rectification, I get half-rectification, and depending on where I measure on the 'rectified' line, sometimes the voltage is negative, and sometimes it is positive. Further, I can measure in other places on the rectified line and get non-rectified voltage. I thought I was just measuring incorrectly until I saw that. Then I just got confused. Any help would be appreciated.
