Trying to set the directory where Qucs will open existing schematic files. Have tried setting various paths in File --> Application Settings --> Locations tab, but Qucs still wants to open files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Qucs\bin. Thanks for your help.

Found the answer - the 'Qucs Home' setting was the place to change.
This basic fact was very hard to discover, thanks.
