I finally compiled the 0.0.16 under ubuntu with some help.
however when it is running simulation I got this
/usr/bin/libtool: line 6003: cd: vhdl: No such file or directory
libtool: link: cannot determine absolute directory name of `vhdl'
apparently in my computer the freehdl is called by "gvhdl"(ghdl is called by ghdl) .
Is that the reason why qucs can't link to it ???
By the way thanks to magneto98 about the compiling
though the patches are not appliable the imformation of the lines that should be modified is not up-to-date
but I do get to finish the compiling by manually applied the .diff
I ran into the same problem when trying out the qucs package on Fedora 16.
This is caused by the hard-coded libtool command line option "-Lvhdl" in the qucsdigi script (line 82 in my version of the script). The problem went away when I created an empty "vhdl" directory in the place where qucs runs the compilation for digital simulations. In my case I used
I have no idea why the local vhdl directory is mentioned on the command line. Maybe it is required when you start to have projects that include VHDL files or multiple circuits.
