First of all thank you very much for your efforts for QUCS!
I have a question about the software.
I know it is possible to do ac time domain simulations but I also wonder if I can do Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) impedance simulations for ensuring signal integrity in my design with the QUCS. Can you help me with my question?
Best regards.

Hello. Normally we would run TDR si sims on S-parameter models. That would require a convolution-based transient solver, that QUCS does not have. I tried to run an S-par sim, then use formulas to produce a TDR plot, but I think I have some bugs in my calculations. If you can make formulas correctly, including FFT, then you might be able to do TDR in QUCS, in S-par sim model, not in transient sim.

QUCS also runs Gnucsator (The Gnucap backend for Qucs). We have an
algorithm that extracts poles/residuals from S-parameters, and we have a
transient convolution model for Gnucap that takes such p/r. It's on the
cutting edge right now, needs a little work and testing.
As with most things, we need somebody to pull it off. But it's good
timing, the Qt5 port has just arrived. Get in touch if you need a
challenge.

This is my template that includes TDR computation from Spar:
