This bug may be fixed in the newer version but for the packaged version on fedora 28 the dataset is not generated when simulating digital circuits. A file under the name Getting is generated with the correct information but not converted into a dataset that is recognized automatically.

The log shows no indication of errors or missed steps and renaming and moving the file to the correct location solves the issue.

could you please attach an example which is failing to simulate there?

Created project "Getting Started", and created a digital circuit as per the getting started directions, using 2 sources and a simple and gate. Clicking simulate generates the dataset display but the dataset is not found with the output from the circuit. the following picutres are the circuit as created and the files found in ~/.qucs after clicking simulate.

I've run another test on a project without spaces in the project name using the same example circuit, the program generated the dataset without issue. The problem lies in how the program handles naming the temporary output file for the dataset.
