I am new here and I looking to know more about co-location hosting services. I am asking this question for my friend. He runs a company in Toronto. They host their own server in their office for all of their needs. Recently he read about the benefits of using a colocation hosting services.
He is thinking about using such a service. But still, he has concerns. So help me clear these doubts if you know.
Will there be a latency in communication or collaboration when everything is moved to a data center?
Is the savings in cost high enough to take the risk?
He is actually considering using this colocation hosting service, somebody please review their service if you have experience with them.
