#2 Pushlatency and FPS

One feature I've never seen in any quakeworld port is
the ability to automatically set the pushlatency due
to the clients ping (maybe to the average of the last
five seconds). This would be an awesome feature, and
reduce lag greatly for all users.

Also I've seen ZQuake, and to say right out I didn't
like it. It seemed to make entities really choppy (at
74 FPS). But one feature did catch my eye. Their FPS
Menu. It degrades quality to up your FPS. It made
mine skyrocket to almost 120 FPS. One thing that
seemed to help (and I've never thought of this having
such an impact) was turning off the sky, and just
making it a solid gray. It greatly improved
performance.

I'm learning C right now, who knows, maybe in a year
or so I'll join you guys in coding QuakeForge.
