I have installed the latest version (qttabbar-v126.96.36.199b2.msi) and the add-in does not function. I see no additional menu options or ability to create tabs.
I am running Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic SP2 with Internet Explorer 9 (Version: 9.0.8112.16421, Update Versions: 9.0.5)
I have done the following:
a) restarted Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer
b) rebooted the PC
c) uninstalled and reinstalled, repeating steps a and b.
d) I have confirmed that the following entries are in the IE9 Add-ons:
QTTabBar - Status "Enabled"
QTTab Standard Buttons - Status "Enabled"
QTTabBar AutoLoader - Status "Enabled"
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Verify that the toolbar is enabled:
Windows Explorer->View->Toolbars->QTTabBar and QTTabBar standard buttons
I have a similar problem but I don't have a "Toolbar" option on the View menu???
(using 64-bit Windows 7)
Found the answer: in Internet Options - Advanced tab - tick "Enable third-party browser extensions"
I have the same problem with QTTabbar on Windows Server 2008 R2 (which uses the
same Windows NT 6.1 codebase as Windows 7) where the QTTabbar option doesn't
appear in the right-click context menu of the toolbars in Windows Explorer.
The "Enable third-party browser extensions" is enabled within the Advanced tab
in the Internet Options window, as suggested by sql coder above, and all the
relevant necessary .NET Frameworks are installed ... still nothing.
Anyone ... ?
