I have an app where I want the administrator to create reports and allow the general users to view the reports but not create or modify the report. Is there a way to view a report without loading it in the designer? Do you have a standalone viewer module? Perhaps a work around.

Yes, there is such feature in the designer. It is a silence mode for generation pdf file. I dont remember exactly but try like below
Qtrptdesigner report.xml report.pdf
I used something similar to example16.xml in QtRptDemo to Database in an app, it navigated generated the report fine.
