after that we downloaded qtparted 0.14 from qtparted download site, and instaled it with kpackage. It installed ok.
there was no menu entry, so I open a shell and called qtparted at prompt, but it gives erros complainning about unsolved symbols. ( i am not in the machine now, sorry for not remembering it )
could we use some apt-get repositories just for testing????

we need some help installing qtparted in debian based distro called kurumin.
i installed libparted1.6 and parted packages from http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/packages/
