#9 communication of gui is unreliable under load

related to long time between qt.msleep() calls.

reproduce by putting extra sleep(2) before qt.msleep in basic_measure_script and choosing instrument / parameter boxes in instrument_control window. Sometimes the parameters only show <none>. Just try to select all different instruments one after the other and see the list of parameters. Once a list contains <None>, it cannot be revived by first selecting another instrument and then going back.

system used: ipython 0.11/0.12, python 2.7.2, windows 7
