When a string variable containing PMathML is displayed using printedVariable with the attribute class="literal", the PMathML is dosplayed inline.

Would it be possible to use class-"block" or similar to display the PMathML in block form? This would involve adding the attribute display="block" to the <math> element when the PMathML is inserted in the document.
