The Win32 Ogg Vorbis plugin only plays files if they
are on the machine's local HDD. I mount a network
fileshare to get most of my music, and it won't play
these at all. It looks it tries, but when you click
play nothing happens. If I copy a file to my Desktop,
it will play it then.

I confirm this. It was driving me nuts because, at work, I
tested one file because my entire collection at home is Ogg.
I didn't even think about it being a network mount issue
until I saw this bug. Local files work flawlessly.

Unfortunately, there is little I can do about this in the component. There
is a bug in the QuickTime FSSpec file handing code. The Application can
work around this in several ways, see the QuickTime-API mailing list for
details.
