#3 use settings in xorg.conf / disable ksynaptics / profiles

I have a special configuration of my touchpad (to get
only scrollevents) configured in /etc/X11/xorg.conf,
but ksynaptics overwrites these settings when I start KDE.
expected behaviour: ksynaptics leaves the settings
alone until I start ksynaptics

other solutions might be:
1) profiles (one could be the xorg.conf default)
2) an option to disable ksynaptics
3) an option to read the settings from xorg.conf
