working on opensuse10.2, gnome2.16.1

installed ksynaptics

called
kcmshell ksynaptics

deactivated tapping

but the touchpad still recognises tapping

does it work only in kde?

Is there a version for gnome?
Is there another possibility to forbid tapping and scrolling by touchpad?
