qSong - the lyrics database / News: Recent posts

Windows binary distribution file for qSong version 0.9.2 contained an error that prevented correct loading of the sqlite database driver and therefore working with the database. The old zip file was removed and replaced with the fixed version.

New release of the qSong lyrics database is avaliable. Brings renewed user interface and stability.

qSong, tool for worship musicians comes with new features as full-screen presentation and simpler user interface. This release is intended as start of final betatests before releasing first production version.

qSong, the lyrics database program brings new print feature and reworked forms with this minor release.

qSong - the lyrics database now comes with ChordPro import and export, PDF export, HTML and plain text export.

New version comes with ChordPro export of songbook feature and some bugfixes. You can produce print output with Chord or Chordpack utility now.

Maybe you noticed, that released windows binary did not work again. I have repaired this bug, download new package, or if you don't want to download again, just add text file qt.conf to your instalation directory with following contents:
[Paths]
plugins = plugins
libraries = lib
That's all, accept my excuses.

New version with update od user inerface is released, just as win32 binary. You can download sources from cvs. I wish to lock the data format and start to work on real usability of the softvare.

There was dll missing un windows binary package,
now it should work! Download new version 0-6.

There is new version 0.6. Several improvemets are made in GUI and database backend. However, this is still development release, you are wlecome to send me feedback.

Project continues and new version 0.5 is released.
Improvements include improved user interface and lot of bugfixes. Please test and send reviews. New version is expected in the first quarter of 2006.

Due to my school responsibilities developmentwill be stoped for some time. I would like to continue as soon as possible. Note that qsong verson 0.4 is still in test phase, so I would welcome your reviews and bug reports.

This is a preparation for first public source release, so there will be no feature adds in a close future. After tests and bugfixes the program should be worth of compiling and ready for evaluation use.
I plan to work mostly on:
documentation, translation, webpage and debug.

There is a new version 0.2 in CVS. Inserting and basic search works, you can download it and send me some feedback.

work is in progres, you can download curretn version from cvs. It is not usable yet, but it's getting closer.
