  • qsoLog is a program written by KD7KDO for logging conversations between amateur radio (HAM) operators and storing a record of these conversations in a qsoLogBook which conforms to the ADIF 2.0 and ADIF 3.1.2 specification."
  • the output file qsoLogBook may be uploaded to eQSL.cc after changing its file type to ".adi" "
  • whereas the project is a bit dated, written using the LINUX TCL/TK toolbox, several new python programs work with ADIF files for checking fday logs and creating cabrillo output files for uploading to QSO parties. "
  • many modern loggers interface directly to the radios (unfortunately this one does not) getting frequency, time and so forth directly as you operate. "
  • this logger was written to process the manual entries I've put into my OLD SCHOOL logbook, for uploading to EQSL and LOTW "
  • check it out and let me know of possible errors and ways to make it more useful "
  • many times I use N1MM+ logger now and then may edit the ADIF file output to submit my Cabrillo output files - use NAME field to capture exchange, then use something like qsoLog-AZQP.py to read it in and output Cab file

A new python program was released in version 1.18
This program reads an ADIF file from N3FJP logging output and
converts it to a Cabrillo output file. Look for:
    wfdAdif2Cab.py
    wfdAdif2Cab-README

Updated the input screen form for easier logging for contests and FT8 entries.
Version 1.19 is ready for prime time.

My latest program is written in PYTHON ... and functionally replaces the old qsoLog program.
    It is called qsoLog.py
It runs both on Windows and Linux
    Enjoy!
