[Qscada-developers] Ugly hardware doc

Hello Everyone,


The attached document is only a *DRAFT*. I spent my time on content and
ideas, not making the document look nice. Which brings up a very good
point; we need to define a document semantic (xml, doxygen, open_office)
that provides templates so all of our docuemts follow the same format,
are easy to publish on the web, and are user friendly to add/modify
content. However we decide this, I think the webmaster (Iain) should
have quite a lot of say, because, he will have to setup and maintain
our online docs.

Nothing is the document is authoritative. I merely looked at one of
Paolo existing document and took a 'first stab' at fluffing out the
intention. I tried to provide links to relevant, previous work that we
should consider compatibility with or gleen good ideas from.
Also, there are many ideas that need to be discussed, before  a detailed
analysis can be agreed upon. After that, much more depth and detail can
be added to these docuemnts. We do not need to work on these documents
ad_nosium, we just need to agree on a framework of skeleton documents.
As our work progresses, these documents will be modified apppropriately.
