Hello Everyone, >From linuxdevices here is an interesting article: Gaff added, "Wind River is particularly pleased that because of Target Management's successful release, device software developers now have an open source framework and a set of views for managing remote embedded systems from Eclipse. Wind River plans to adopt the Target Management technology in our next release of Wind River Workbench." I'm no fan of WindRiver, but this aticle is worth reading: http://www.linuxdevices.com/news/NS4284084732.html Any my questions is which IDE are developers of QScada going to use? Once we nail down the desired languages to support, I'd be most curious as to which, if any, IDE folks will be using to develop and maintain the Qscada code_base? If not Eclipse then which IDE? Or are we going to just use a variety of command line tools and traditional unix/C coding approaches? Every one using their how toolchest of IDEs and scripts? CVS vs SVN http://www.joestump.net/913108051/subversion-vs-cvs-review.html curious as to other's thoughts on IDEs and code repository management ideas. James |
