No

On Mac 10.6.5 QSapecNG 1.2.1
When you try to place your first component it places itself on the top left corner.
Then if you move your mouse and click for the second time, it will place it where you want it.
If you don't move your mouse and keep clicking then all instances of the component are placed on the top left corner.

PS: How come Sourceforge doesn't allow me to upload more than one file.

    I know the problem.
Maximize flexibility of the size of the scene drives to an incorrect placement for the first component on MacOS, due to the fact that initial size has been set to 0.
On Windows and GNU/Linux I fixed the bug, because I had not an available MacOS system I cannot test the patch for your platform.
I'm sorry. I will try to fix the problem upstream, and then I release it with next minor version 1.3.0, Please, stay on-line, you are a good tester!! ;-)
