Is there a way to record nmea data to a text file using qpegps.
I'm experimenting with the idea of replaying real flights in the (excellent) open source flight simulator www.flightgear.org. I'm hoping to use a haicom cf compact flash card with my zaurus C700.
If this is not possible is there a linux command line way of writing the data to a file on a zaurus.

    Any Ideas greatly appreciated.

    Regards

You can use the tracklog function of qpegps.
      To record nmea directly, use
      "cat /dev/ttyS0 > filename"
(directly copies the data from com1 to a file).
You may use cumulus, too. It is designed for recording flight data (especially for gliders).
