#43 Rate Limiting Errror & Borken Pipe

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a problem with the
oscar server itself, but everytime I log onto aim
through gaim on my Zaurus SL-5600 I stay logged on for
about five seconds then I get a pop up message titled
"Rate Limiting Error". and the contents reads, "The
last action you attempted could not be performed
because you are over the rate limit. Please wait 10
seconds and try again." If i press my only option "OK"
Gaim closes out. I ran gaim form a terminal to see
the details of what is actually going on and it seems
as though gaim crashes with a message "broken pipe".
Is there anyway to get around this problem?
