First public release of the GIRAFFE module for monitoring systems. GIRAFFE is a generalized alert filter, supporting a chain of filters and modular parsing structure for inbound alerts. This initial release implements dependency trees.

This version of QOS has many fixes and new features with regards to esclation, pager limiting, and new entities. It is recommended that this version is used, if you use it. Thanks.

I've refreshed the client and server tarballs with the most current from CVS. This includes a new Ping entity and some fixups I committed today. Enjoy!

I got ambitious and wrote some QOS docs. Check out http://qos.sourceforge.net/docs. Look pretty snazzy, eh?

Packages for the QOS Agent and Server are available on SF. The Server package is a snapshot from CVS, while the Agent is the usual qosagent.tgz tarball. This will keep the project from looking too dead.. :-)

qos@yahoogroups.com is the official mailing list for QOS. Use it to communicate with developers, ask questions, and submit patches for best response. Of course you can still use the SourceForge facilities if you prefer :)
