Hi,

thanks for this great audio player. Tried several on Fedora and I'll stick with qmmp. Used AIMP on Windows and qmmp is a very good alternative.

The only thing not really working for me is the lyrics plugin. When I open qmmp through terminal this is what I get:

qmmp
HotkeyManager: X11 not found. Plugin disabled
KdeNotify: DBus interfece created successfully.

I'm on Fedora 40 and KDE Plasma 6.1.2 with Wayland.

I have no idea if this is a bug. Any help welcome :)

    Hey,
I use the Fedora Discover version which is currently 2.1.5
I finally found some songs where the lyrics plugin works for me. For example I just use azlyrics.com
Band is NOFX, Album is "Single Album". azlyrics.com has lyrics for all songs of the album. But QMMP shows only lyrics for "Birmingham" and "Linewleum". For the other songs I get this error message: Error: 404 - Error transferring https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/nofx/your last resort.html - server replied:

I use DNSCrypt with Pihole, but there is nothing blocked and even when Pihole is turned off I get the same error messages.

Try to update Qmmp. 2.1.8 has a lot of fixes for lyrics plugin.

Took me some time to figure out how to compile it by myself but in the end I was successful. With Qmmp 2.1.8 the lyrics plugin worked much better than with 2.1.5! Still got a number of errors though but much less than before.
    Thanks!
