Yes, I've noticed it. Though I obviously haven't used the built-in UI much anyway ;). > I was looking for all available GUI's, and yours look most interesting so > far, since it is updated often, it's multiplatform, and support both MAME > and MESS. Yes, great, I'd like to support this move (with QMC2) and take your kind offer to support me / us in that! What's most important for me is to get early information about planned (future) changes that are somehow related to front-ends in general like the introduction of software-lists at the time it made its way into MESS. Speaking of such, there's already working (WIP) support for software-lists in the current code base. I've just not been able to complete all functionality yet (and have more "pressing" things in the queue)... Also, as I've proposed to etabeta78 a few month ago, I'm going to add a "MESS- wiki-2-sysinfo.dat importer" to QMC2 in one of the next versions, because the current export routine from Duke is apparently not "clean". When that's working and officially accepted (by the MESS team), I'd love to take over the responsibility for generating up-to-date sysinfo.dat's. Either published on my homepage and/or as part of the SVN trunk (as it is now). Everyone using QMC2 could also generate / import it on-demand... So, feel free to add my front end to the "officially supported" ones (or THE one ;)) by MESS! Thanks for you interest, René -- René Reucher ren...@ba... http://www.batcom-it.net/ |
