How about a flag for the user mark already know
used key assignments by other programs. it could be
just an icon, or an option for use an icon from the
program that is using that key. i think it could be
like creating a false shortcut, that isn't really
works.
Of course, serious developers could make shortcut
sensor to look for used keys, but this should also
check for combinations with shift, control and alt
keys.
