Audio player fade out on button

Is it possible to set a fade out time on an audio file linked to button (couldn't find one)? What I'm thinking is this: you have a sound cue in a play and it doesn't always stop at the same spot (due to actor movements), but you want it to fade out gracefully over a second or so. So one could be able to set the fade out time on the button so that if I switch off the button/player, it will take the set time to fade out nicely and not come to an abrupt halt.

Audio automatic fade in/out is not available in QLC+ yet.
Unfortunately audio functions are different from all the rest, cause they do not control DMX values.
For now you can manually fade in/out audio tracks with VC sliders in playback mode or by adjusting the intensity attribute by right clicking on a VC button.

I've added this to my (getting longer and longer) TODO list :)

I'm sure that list is long, but interesting. The trouble with the slider as volume control is that it only works if the slider invokes the file to be played. The slider does not go to 255 if the audio file is invoked by some other trigger.
