The usage of images as background in buttons in Virtual console does not give any results. I checked in project file, and the image name is not saved in the <BackgroundImage> tag. Is this planned behaviour?

It works fine for me. So please provide more info:
- QLC+ version, platform (win/linux/osx)
- icon type (jpg/png/...)
- location of the icon and location of the workspace file (paths)

QLC+ v 4.4.0
OS: Win 7 SP1
Image file: PNG and JPG 64x64 located at c:\QLC+\Gobos\KM
Project file location: C:\Users\user\QLC+
I used button background image menu item to set image as background, but without results. I also tried to insert image manually directly in qxw file. Also no result. What even more interesting, when I set a background for Frame, it works fine.

It used to work for me. I did some changes to code that saves the path, so I could introduce a bug. I'll check it tonight.
Same issue, however, I can get an icon to load onto button if that helps solve issue.
