have just started playing with the software as a possible replacement for our physical desk, but coming at it from a theatrical bent, it is missing two features. I really like that you added the ability to capture a scene from the virtual desk. Why the scene has to go into a chase to beyond me.. would like to just add the scene to the cue list as a acene like it does on the quick desk
would also like to be able to capture a dimmer temporarily on the virtual desk so that the virtual desk slider could over ride and take a channel down below the cued level so the scene could be adjusted easily. As it is, I have to open the scene editor, find that particular dimmer and do it from there. You can push a level up of course, but to lower a level on our physical console, we can temporarily capture a channel or channels, lower the level, record the change to the scene and go on all in real time. It is a work flow thing that is repeated over and over in creating and tweaking the look of a show
Thanks.. great program, and probably will use it for my next hang, so that I can use the ipod via vnc as a rfu unit. Will save lots of trips up and down off the lift, and ladders when working alone.
