After watching Massimo's video tutorial on Chasers, I am trying to click on a random scene in the chaser and have it jump to that scene out of order (26:56 in the video), but nothing happens.
I'm using Lubuntu 13.10, with the latest update of qlc+
Any thoughts why it won't jump to that scene like it does in the video?

I was in operate mode. I click play on the cue list, but can only scroll with the next buttons - not by clicking on a specific scene like I would like to.
How do you turn on the random chaser option?

Jared means randomly selecting steps (manually) by clicking on the step name, not the random order I've added.
Jared,
I have Lubuntu as well, and I didn't find a way to do it with the mouse... I tried also in Windows (W7) and still no luck. What works for me is to use arrow keys and press enter.
Massimo, how did you do it? :D I suspect there is something silly I overlooked.

I'm pretty sure I haven't discovered a secret feature of QLC+ :D
I haven't been playing with Cue lists so much, but manually clicking on a step should activate it...or at least it is the wanted behaviour I have in mind

I've the same behavior of Jano: I must click on a step and then press enter to activate it, I'm using gnome3.

Thanks Jano, I must have overlooked that. Trying what you said, using the arrow keys works for me- also pressing on the scene with the mouse and then pressing enter works well too. That will be a feasible solution for me.
Working in theatre, if someone misses a cue and I need to update where I am in the list, the ability to change to a new cue a few cues away is needed. Mouse and then enter will work just fine.
Thank you both for your help!

Using mouse and enter works on Windows, but double click is a one hand operation. It is also intuitive.
Can double left click be added as a select & execute trigger? The line is selected in Windows but it does not execute, until you press enter. Having double click would be one less thing for inexperienced/nervous operators think about.

Ok. No problem - Might be worth looking into in the future for some people who have midi controllers and want to have a "play" button assigned to start their show. But certainly not a top priority.

please 1. create new topic 2. attach your workspace file there (.qxw file) and describe how to reproduce it (e.g. name of the chaser). Somebody will look at it and find the problem.

Hello to you.
Random chaser has been implemented after my tutorial, in fact you can't see the option in the video.
Are you in design or operate mode ?
I was in operate mode. I click play on the cue list, but can only scroll with the next buttons - not by clicking on a specific scene like I would like to.

Then KDE wins over all ! :)

While I'm asking about how to do certain things - is it possible to map the operate/design mode button to a midi button/switch?
Not at the moment sorry

Hello. Have a queation in the virtual console i have a chester and show mode have tap tempo? I attachment a new speed dial but not working :( why??
Robert,

Hallo everyone,
I'm using 4.7.4 in Osx (Maverick): Enter or double click in Cue list don't work so, for me, there is no way to jump to a specific cue.
Any hint?
Thanks for qlc+.
