Mac 10.6.8 not working. Please help.

I tried all of the qlc+ 4.x.x versions and I can not get them to work with my mackbook running OSX 10.6.8.
When I download the program and try to run it I get the message "You can't open the application QLC+ because it is not supported on this type of mac."
In the forums it appears that people are running QLC on 10.6.8. Not sure what I am doing wrong or what I need to do to fix this.

is you mac an intel based computer or an old model with a G5 or G4 processor? I think (but I'm not pretty sure about it) that QLC+ works on intel based Macs only

It has an Intel Core Duo 2.16 GHz processor.

The model of the computer is A1150

QLC+ works great on my other mac.
