Hi I just discovered QLC plus and i'm excited about the possibilities. Unfortunately i'm finding the program very buggy and it's constantly crashing for all kinds of different reasons. I have found the Show Editor to crash the most and consistently. For example if I create a new blank show and create a new scene and then add a second new scene it immediately crashes. I really want to use the show editor but haven't gotten it to work with multiple tracks.

I'm using 4.3.1 and the latest version of MacOS

A few other problems I have noticed. If I create a show and set the time division to say BPM and 128 and save the show, close the software, and reopen it goes back to the default of Time 120. The Show Editor in general I don't find very intuitive. It would be helpful to display the waveforms of audio and I don't understand why audio requires the creation of a scene. I want to use this software so I can drop a song in for DJing create a custom light show on many tracks beneath the song and then once finished delete the audio and trigger the show at the same time I start playing a song in Traktor. It would be ideal of the show editor was setup in a workflow similar to Logic or Ableton thinking about midi style clips that instead are triggering lighting effects.. I am currently working with 5 generic RGB Pars. I want to be able to set up a track for each Par where I can just drop in a clip anywhere and set the color, intensity, and fade times.

On a separate note is there any way to receive midiclock data so I could just easily have the lights beatsync. Hopefully this wasn't too many questions. Thanks!

Program very buggy: this is quite an unhelpful information. If you detail the bugs you found then the software might improve. Otherwise it won't

Show Editor multiple tracks: I use 6 tracks and I have no issues. Detail your steps to reproduce the issue

Show Editor not intuitive: another useless information. Please detail.

Waveform preview: have you tried to right click the audio track before posting this ? There is even a screenshot showing it is possible: https://a.fsdn.com/con/app/proj/qlcplus/screenshots/qlcplus_multitrack.png

BPM not saved: Known behaviour. When I'll have time I'll improve it.

MIDI/JACK clock: already discussed in this forum. Not feasible at the moment

      Hi jdprgm,

on your question about synchronisation with Traktor, i use the beat phase MIDI-Signal as described here: http://www.marthijnvandenheuvel.com/2010/10/16/map-traktors-beat-phase-monitor-to-your-reloop-digital-jockey-2/

In QLC+ i use a cue list in virtual console with my effects or chasers and change to next cue point by assigning the MIDI-Input to Traktor Pros Beat Phase. Maybe it's helpful.

      Heiko
