    This is probably a bit of a strange use case, but here it is:

    I have two MIDI devices which identical. I have configured one device to send on one MIDI channel and the other to send on a separate MIDI channel. While both of the devices appear in the input list, I cannot successfully use both of the devices at the same time (without an external program to combine the inputs on an IAC MIDI bus). I am able to select one of the devices and utilize it on my first universe, but when I go to the second universe and select the other device, I simply don't get any input. I've checked to make sure that QLC+ is looking for the device on the appropriate channel, to no avail.

    I could be missing something here, but I feel like there is a problem in the way that the devices are being seen by QLC+ given the fact that they have the same device name.

    As I said, I can currently work around it, but if it could be fixed, that would be excellent!

    Oh, and here's one more plea for MIDI relative mode! Please, please, please! :)

    George,

    I see you are using Mac. Can you post here debug messages that you get when you run QLC+ with "-d 0" parameter? Since debug messages were removed from released versions since 4.8.0, you'll have to either compile from sources, or use version 4.7.4 or earlier. I'm interested in lines:

    MidiEnumeratorPrivate::rescan() Found device: <name> UID: <number></number></name>

    The question is whether the devices show as two with different UIDs and one input sources each, or do they show as one device/UID and two input sources.

    BTW. what are those MIDI devices (model/make)? just curious...
