    Hi,
I often use the fullscreen mode, so that I can´t see the Linux Taskbar with the clock. It would be very nice to have a clock (hh:mm:ss) in QLC+.
    Thanks a lot.

"I often use the fullscreen mode, so that I can´t see the Linux Taskbar with the clock."

I know this is not an answer but let me notice that there is one simple answer to such a phrase : if you want to see the clock untoggle fullscreen...

      Ok, i'm out...

Hey, do you switch your wrists in fullscreen mode too ? Just kidding :)
Not sure if I'm going to add something like that...

Once I wished the same. My wristwatch doesn't work anymore and I haven't bought another one yet ;)

I originally planned to say use
    xclock -d -strftime "%H:%M:%S" -update 1
and set it to always on top.

Then I found that it is not on top of QLC+ in fullscreen and googling didn't revealed how to workaround it.

    Hmmm.

During a show, I can´t move my eyes away from this brilliant software. No wristwatches, no drinks, no girls ;-))
It would be a nice add-on to make QLC+ a bit more perfekt. I´m not a programmer (just a bit c and c++) but i think this is simple to implement. Isn´t it?

No drinks no girls ? Then you don't have much fun during your shows ! :)
Anyway, I got the point. I will implement it...but with a very low priority.
Right now I'm in full immersion with the QLC+ wizard. Making it right it's kinda burning my brain... o__O

If it gets in the program, will it be on one of the toolbars or a virtual console widget?

    • Massimo Callegari

I think it'll be a virtual console widget

OK, thanks. I'd prefer that as you'd be able to stick it in the center of the screen

Nice to see how the clock widget develops - this unimportant gimmick (little joke) :-))
