This is quite a nice piece of software :)

I have tried this software but could not get it to go into the add mode. I found another this http://www.howtogeek.com/79988/turn-a-gamepad-into-a-midi-controller-to-use-with-audio-software/ - I got this to work (interface is a bit clumsy).

Buttons work OK but since the joystick is spring loaded and centred it is not that useful to control an XY pad. See separate post about some suggestions.

Just curious, what do you mean by "add mode"?

I can get the software up and it reads my game controller fine. I cannot seem to add mappings. The add button on the screen remains greyed out. I suspect that it waits for the midi chain to work properly but I could not get it to work.
