    Hi there,

i know it is in alpha stage, but I must say it looks very promising!!!
for now the faders that look at dmx values are just for visual representation of (a group of) channels and their values. You cannot do anything with them since they will always be put back to their dmx value position.
It would be awesome to be able to "take over" a (set of) channels in order to update a scene or effect. This would be perfect for theater use.
also is this possible for a scene? the percentage of a scene when activated by a different widget (cuelist / button) represented by a fader.

    regards
    Tony

You can take over the faders. I use sliders link to a single channel and then they change as the scenes change the values of the channels. I can then change them using the mouse. It works well. You effectively have a motorised controller but in software format.

I think this works only of all the channels linked to the slider has the same value and are linked to the same relative channel of the same fixture model. I use only one channel per slider so have no experience with this functionality when using multiple channels.

Tony, can you please tell us if you are watching LTP or HTP channels ?
I guess that can make the difference.

I tried to use both HTP and LTP.

my workflow to test this is to create 8 generic dim channels, 8 Faders in level mode with watch checkbox. next I create two scenes and put them in a chaser, i trigger those using a cuelist.
attached is my test show. Midi has not been mapped.

    Hi,
Using as well QLC+ for theatre purposes, I face the same issue than Tony. Impossible to take over a scene from the monitoring fader.
The only solution I've found is to double each fader by an other one keeping the monitoring box unchecked. One allows to monitor the level, the other one to update it if needed. But it would, of course, be much handy if those changes could be one on the same fader.
    Regards.

NB: And by the way, any monitoring fader set as Knob makes the program crash (Windowns7 64).
