QLC+ version 4.7.1 doesn't aim to introduce new features, but to improve the stability and usability.
There are good news for OSX users though. 2 days ago Qt 4.8.6 has been released, which should give a better support for the problematic Maverick, so I decided to bundle it in this version. Also I have finally been able to fix the annoying bug on audio playback, leading to crashes and freezing behaviour.
This version as been compiled against OLA 0.9.0, so everyone using the OLA plugin is invited to update their version too.
Changelog:
Monitor: fixed crash when loading a project with the monitor open
Monitor: show channel's icon in DMX view mode

Hello Massimo,
This version crash at startup on my system (Mac Os 10.7.5).
User profile is new and clean.
Crashlog Attached, hope it helps!
Hi Alessandro, it seems the same another user encountered
https://sourceforge.net/p/qlcplus/discussion/general/thread/0f387d38/?limit=25#32ca
Which version of OLA are you using ? Can you update to 0.9.0 as suggested ?
Upgrading to ola 0.9.0 with MacPorts seems solving the problem. No more crashes at startup.
Thanks
Alessandro, I am on the Mac as well and had the same issue. 4.7.0 would load fine, 4.7.1 crashes on startup.
I have no idea how to deal with OLA on the mac, and it looks like I have to install Xcode to get it??
Hi Drew,
to install OLA on Mac Os you need Xcode. Then simply install macports following http://www.macports.org/install.php and finally get ola with
"sudo port install ola"
For other install instructions, read http://www.openlighting.org/ola/mac-install/
Hi,
I don't know if it's the same issue for me, I just compiled this new version under ubuntu 13.10. It crash at start too.
I disabled compilation of OLA in plugins.pro file.
[EDIT] log attached

Nicolas, you have to uninstall any previous version before installing a new one.
From your log I can clearly see that OLA is detected.
Possibly remove also the configuration file.
I have successfully buid the 4.7.1 release. No more crash, thanks.
I had some files form the older 4.6.1 version on my disk.
