The issue is : that device cannot be connect using the patchbay, nor be restored. However it works fine with the "connect" tab. I figured the name issue because the other I/O of the midi tab are working fine... Obviously it's not the white spaces nor the special chars since sooperlooper has them too...

I just can't figure out why this keyboard cannot be connected via patchbay... I've tried it with ALSA and MIDI....

what's actually the issue/question?

re. escaped characters: the patchbay client names are in fact regular
expressions and thus the escaped characters.
