Hi, for those who could not attend the meeting here a short summary. I told Ragin and NW-Admin how we think we will go on with the separation of the code parts for qingu and Novawars. We defined some key elements for this: 1. Have a GUI that can be seperated and loaded dynamically depending on a graphics pack that has to be provided. 2. Enable the modules to be loaded dynamically, depending on the project specific needs. Ragin and NW-Admin will take care of creating concepts for these 2 problems until 30th April. They will send the concepts around, so everybody can discuss about them. Ragin also kicked off a discussion about the modules datagrid and cache_lite from the pear repository, which should be checked if they can be included in our code, to save time in the implementation phase. Since this is close to what he is doing for the other concepts Ragin will also take care of that. I will check for the phpdoc capabilities of sourceforge, as well as a project management tool like trac (Ragin will send a link to the documentation of this) to enable a better coordination for Qingu. Badman and myself will also take care of rewriting the whole GUI part until the next meeting. This is the preparation for the new GUI which needs a common way in the current code to be implemented. The update concept will again be done by Ragin/NW-Admin under the consideration of the fight script being moved out of the PHP code, as well as other code that calculates things in the background. Another consideration we have to to take care of is the use of JAVA code, since a JRE is not included in a standard LAMPP/WAMPP environment. This needs then a special setup by the user. |
