    I have just installed the marvellous qgit in gnome on ubuntu netbook remix.

    Clicking any directory icons outside of nautilus opens the directory in qgit.

    dougle@localhost$ grep qgit /usr/share/applications/*
    /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache:inode/directory=qgit.desktop;nautilus-folder-handler.desktop;

    Is this a good idea? what is the logic behind this?

    Yes, I have the same issue on Ubuntu 11.10. When I try to open a disk or flash drive, it opens qgit. Please, fix!
