Hi folks,
Debian GNU/Linux unstable, Kernel 2.6.16[-1-686]
I have successfully patched ("[ 1412217 ] Patch to build against 2.6.16-rc1 and newer"), build and installed the driver (qc-usb-0.6.3).
It does load ("usbcore: registered new driver quickcam", dmesg) but if I connect the camera (QickCam Express, Vendor id: 046d, Product id: 0928) the driver does not seam to feel responsible for that device:
usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 2
usb 1-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 4
usb 1-3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[dmesg output]
Any ideas?
