QBCore is an open-source framework for building roleplay experiences, originally developed for FiveM (a Grand Theft Auto V multiplayer modification). It became one of the most widely used frameworks for FiveM roleplay servers.
QBCore provides the core architecture for characters, roles, permissions, accounts, and other roleplay systems, while leaving world content and gameplay rules to individual server creators. This lets server owners build unique experiences on a shared, actively maintained foundation.
Licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0, QBCore is maintained by an open-source community centered around the qbcore-framework GitHub organization.
The project is expanding beyond FiveM into a cross-platform framework ecosystem, with a native Roblox implementation in active development and further platforms under evaluation.
Source code and documentation are available on GitHub.
