    Sorry I haven't tried Test Builder yet, but from looking at the wiki, it looks like the tool simply starts/stops the performance logging, and graphs the performance over the test interval and allows you to track/map performance at a particular time to a particular test scenario.

    It would be interesting to add performance thresholds analysis, where tester defines peak performance thresholds for the performance counter log configuration that if crossed at a point in time, is brought to the viewers attention when viewing the graph and test results. Something akin to what PAL does, though PAL is not associated with any test (automation), http://pal.codeplex.com/

    Hi,

    We encourage any integration withing the framework, or in this case a Test block\s with any tool especially an open source.

    The integration with prefmon though require the user to have knowledge  using prefmon counters,  its power is mainly in showing the timeline correlation between the performance test and the automated functional test. this way user can see which action effected the system performance.
