Ok, so I screwed up, I'm man enough to admit it. I put out a release with a couple of glaring bugs, so here's yet another 0.1.x version of the Web Interface. Unless something really big jumps up and bites me in the ass again, this will be the last version before 0.2.0. Once again, this is only an update for the Web Interface. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/q3serverstats/Unistats_Web_Interface_0.1.4.tar.gz - Warhammer |

Yet again, I wasn't planning to release another 0.1.x version, but Arnold|Kalidor pointed out a glaring bug. I still can't figure out how I missed it for so long. *shug* Oh well, that's why it's a beta. Along with a couple of bug fixes on the Overview page, I also took the time to add a few of the minor requests that I've received. Nothing too big here, but well worth the download. While I'm behind on my schedule, as usual, I'm making great progress on version 0.2.0 of the Engine. I'm getting quite excited about the possibilities of what I will be able to do with this new engine and the ideas I have for the 0.2.0 version of the Web Interface. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/q3serverstats/Unistats_Web_Interface_0.1.3.tar.gz - Warhammer |

Ok, I have to apologize for not getting to this earlier. For some reason I wasn't getting sent anything from the mailing list, so I never knew about this until someone pointed it out in the archives. Oops, all fixed now, I hope. :-) 1. I'm glad you like the Main Overview Page. It's one of the parts that I wasn't too sure about. But that was more about it being too much of a load on the SQL database than about whether or not people would like the layout/content of the page. I'm considering adding more, especially once I add CTF support. 2. The initial Overview section of the Player Info Page is the one page that I have never been happy with. There's just something about it that just doesn't seem right. I guess I pack so much information on every other page that the overview page just seems kinda simplistic. I like the idea of displaying more than one value for each of the categories (Favorite Victim/Weapon, Most Hated Player/Weapon, etc.). I think I might cap it at five for each though. I think 10 would be too much, but I'll play with it and see how it looks. I might just make it a user selectable value, we'll see. I'll also look into how easy it would be to add the "who has me as Most Hated" values, I'll also need to figure out a better way to label it. :-) 3. I have plans to add graphs at a later date. I wasn't sure if I would do this or not, but a GD library (allows dynamic generation of images) has been added to the latest releases of PHP. This will allow the web interface to generate graphs on the fly, using user selected values. It's a ways down my list of priorities at this point though, so I can't promise it any time soon, sorry. 4. I'm still trying to figure out if this is a sarcastic remark or not. :-) I wrote all the documentation before I wrote most of the code. It's main purpose was as a design document for me and to let people know what I was working on. I've stuck pretty close to design so I hope that the docs at least give a little insight into what I had in mind when I started this project. My future plans are going to start deviating from the docs so I'll have to find the time to update them with more relevant and useful info, but for the time being I'm concentrating on writing code. Of coarse if anyone were to volunteer to help rewrite the docs... (/me starts turning blue from holds his breath). - Warhammer On Tues, 2002-01-14 at 00:35, Denis Etienne wrote: Hello, I used to play Urban Terror TDM on a server that stats with aestats. Interresting. Hope these few suggestions can help. Regards, D. E. |

Ok, this should be the last of the 0.1.x versions and this is only for the Web Interface. Nothing big here just a couple of fixes and the addition of the ability to set the default values through the globals.php file (thanks to BeachBum for the suggestion). As usual, head over to the home page (unistats.ispgn.com) for downloads and all the details. - Warhammer |

What exactly is the difference between longterm and regular data. For instance the Longterm rankings will show different kill/death data than the regular ranking page, yet it will show the same data as the player page. I looked into the structure of StatsProduction but was provided with little clue (probably due to my own ignorance) on how these differ. Thanks for the insight! Regards, Stinky |

I've just finished posting the newest version of the stats engine and I think everyone will want to check it out. No major improvements to the Engine itself but the new Web Interface is well worth the download. Head over to the homepage (http://unistats.ispgn.com) for more details. I'm interested to know what everyone thinks of the new name. - Warhammer |
