Release 7.11 of Q, the equational programming language, is now available.
The new release sports symbolic XML-style character escapes in string literals, various improvements and bugfixes in the clib, system and odbc modules, support for highres timers and timed waits on mutexes and semaphores on systems which provide that functionality, and Jiri Spitz' new AVL tree implementation which considerably speeds up the dictionary and set data structures in the standard library. Moreover, the all-in-one package now includes all the latest versions of the addon packages, as well as Eddie Rucker's new CSV module for reading and writing comma-separated value data.
