Looks nice and useful. How about uploading it to the wiki? There's a
"Tips and Tricks" section there to which you could add it, or you could
start a new programming examples page or something like that.

Also, if you don't mind, I could add the script to the examples folder
of the core package so that it's included in the next Q release.
