currently about to finish the next bugfix release, so it would be the
last opportunity to get this bug fixed in 7.6 as well.

Sorry for the hassle. Apparently sf.net's mailing lists are broken
again. The archive looks like a big mess, with broken formatting of the
messages, a defunct thread display, and lots of spam I don't know how to
get rid of. Oh well. :(
