That would be the easiest option, of course. I've also considered the
LGPL but I'm not sure whether the rationale behind that license really
applies to Q. Also, the GNU regex code which is bundled with the Q core
distribution and linked into the clib module is GPL, not LGPL. I guess
that this might be an issue if Q would be licensed under the LGPL?

Well, as there isn't a current demand for a license change I guess I'll
just postpone that decision again. :) But it will eventually be
necessary to resolve that question...
