How about "co_op" or "coop", as in "co-op", as in "conditional operation"?
Or perhaps "cop"? "cops"? "caml"? "ocaml"? (ducks... ;-)

PS: How about "pop" or "pops", as in "pending operation(s)"? Reminds me of BASIC... ;-)
