It turns out that our hands are equally "old", vintage 1962. I started my programming "career" part-time in 1975, and by 1978 I was programming full-time...dynamic systems modeling in FORTRAN IV...on punch cards...with that lovely green-and-white fan-fold paper for output...and I had to walk uphill to the computing center...both ways.  ;-)

Where was Q when I needed it most? (I would have settled for Lisp, had I known that it existed)

At least "cool" was "cool"...or was it "groovy"? (shudders...)
